Ruff Life Rescue in Association with Ray of Hope Mission Center

Ruff Life RAAP works in association with the Ray of Hope Mission Center in Port Deposit, MD to provide a pet food bank two times per month. We offer FREE dog, cat food, litter and pet supplies to over 300 families in need in the state of Maryland, primarily in Harford and Cecil Counties. We also assist families in Chester Co. Pennsylvania and Northern Delaware, as we are able.

Our Mission:

We believe that no one should have to give up a family member due to lack of finances. In exchange for food assistance, we require our clients to spay/neuter/vaccinate their pets.
No exceptions.
No excuses.

on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month :

Ruff Life RAAP is a federally recognized 501(c)3 charity and donations are deductible as allowed by law.

or if you would like to donate money or giftcards to purchase bags of dry cat or dog food, please send donations directly to Ruff Life RAAP via mail, in person at Ray of Hope.

A 20 lb. bag of dog food costs us approximately $12.00
A 14lb. bag of cat food costs us approximately $10.00

Our food bank wish list:

Cat food,dog food (dry and canned)

Litter, Litter pans

Rubbermaid storage containers

Empty Plastic Litter Containers (used to distribute pet food)

Plastic food scoops

Toys, blankets, crates

Flea/Tick/Heartworm preventative

Gift cards to local merchants to purchase food (Walmart, Martin's Foods and Pet Valu gives us discounts on food purchases!)

These items can be brought to Ray of Hope Mission or we can arrange pick up.
