The PPD Outreach Program was developed to fit the needs of the youth in Perryville and to build positive relationships between the youth and the Police Department. General Information Struggling teens are often individuals with vast untapped potential that are simply not making the most of their abilities in their abilities in their current school, social, or family situations. Mission "The mission of the Perryville Police Department Outreach Program is to provide an alternative solution to at risk youth through a combination of preventive programs, guidance, and encouragement. The program also motivates all youth to strive to develop and achieve their goals to become productive citizens." A young yellow lab was starving to death because her low-income elderly owner could not provide enough food for a young growing pup. Ruff Life jumped into action and rescued her, while also providing assistance to the elderly owner and their other pets. This young pup was named Karma by her foster mom,
who also is the head of the Perryville Police Department Outreach program. Her foster mom has since adopted this deserving pup. This union has inspired The Outreach and Ruff Life to combine efforts and create a program called "Karma's Kids"-
